Realtex Construction, LLC, was formed in 2004 with a focus on becoming the general contractor for its parent company and affliliate, Realtex Development Corporation ("Realtex"). The principals of Realtex Construction include the principals of Realtex, Rick J. Deyoe and John O. Boyd, along with the Vice President of Realtex Construction, Charles Brewer. Together the three have a combined total of over 50 years in the real estate industry as well as extensive experience in the oversight and construction of the highest quality affordable and market rate housing throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida.

In 2001 Realtex became the construction manager for a 94 unit property in Houston, Texas; a 76 unit rural family property in Elgin, Texas; a 96 unit senior housing development in Beaumont, Texas as well as a 104 unit community in Wichita Falls, Texas. As construction manager, Realtex was responsible for working with the general contractor on the project oversight of all phases of construction from site work to completion.
